What is The Age Limit on Hip Hop?

Time and time again, We see that many of the Rappers come and go. There has been rappers that was cold with their words in the ‘80s but can’t sell for nothing now.

Is it because of their age?

LL Cool J was Def Jam’s first artist and he is still around today (Yes I do know that he did not drop anything this year).

That’s what the rap game is missing now, Longevity.

jay-z_001

Jay-Z is getting pretty close to his 40th Birthday and he is still the Best Rapper of this present moment. When he first decided to retire, he didn’t do it because he felt he was too old for Hip-Hop. He retired because he wanted to pursue business; It’s definitely possible to have more than one hat while rapping. The dude came back to rap.

A lot of people really thinks when you get past that 35 years old mark, You need to go ahead and give up on it.

You don’t see Rock and Roll artists retiring when they turn 38. These Rock and Roll artist record until they are 150 years old and won’t let  nothing hold them back.

Rappers shall be able to the same thing especially if they love the art. Older Rappers can rap about what they can relate to and market that to everybody, and that’s anybody that can relate to them.

Coming from me,

THERE IS NOT AN AGE LIMIT ON HIP-HOP!

BUT

The question is:

When is time to stop Rapping when you haven’t gain any success? What’s the age limit on giving on Rap?

Answer that question, In the Comments..

Chris Brown – Changed Man (Old song never released or New song after trail?)

Chris Brown might be a changed man but his label is denying that the newly released recording “Changed Man” is a new track. The lyrics that could be interpreted as some kind of apology to Rihanna leaked last week. But Brown’s reps told MTV that the track isn’t the first single off Brown’s forthcoming LP Graffiti, but an old tune.

A handful of new Brown songs have leaked over the past few months, however Jive Records insists that no Graffiti-bound tracks have emerged as yet. The singer first made mention of his new album in an impromptu video with Bow Wow in which Brown declared “I ain’t a monster.”

“I’mma make it up to you and show the world I’m a changed man. Because you mean that much to me, and I don’t want to be done,” Brown — or someone who sounds a lot like Brown — sings on the chorus. “I’m doing all that I can, and everybody hates Chris, thinkin’ they’ll never understand.”

As the lyrics appear to be an apology to Rihanna, the blog Toya’s World points out, the backing track of “Changed Man” is exactly the same as Danity Kane member Dawn Richard’s “Falls Away,” a song that actually predates the Chris Brown/Rihanna incident. Either “Changed Man” is Brown’s own demo version of the track and the lyrics are coincidental, or Brown used Richard’s song as the backing track for his apology to Rihanna. Either way, it’s safe to assume “Changed Man” won’t be appearing on Graffiti as rumored.

Vote PacDiv for Mayor !!! (Pacific Division) The California Takeover [Video]

Several months ago the homie, M. Taylor, showed me a video of a group called Pacific Division for their song “Girl Problems,” because he liked the song and video, obviously right?

Anyways,

The video left an impression on me and led me to remember their name. I have heard there mixtape and really like the wittyness of their flow like on the song “Act Like You Should.”

This song is the reason why I’m writing this (Watch Video):

This song “Mayor” did more than leave an impression on me. This song made a become a fan.

I really like the concept of this song. Running for mayor? Come on, how random… PacDiv get points for Creativity.

The beat is what caught my attention. It sounds like NWA “Compton.”

Overall, I like the song and expect to see them more.

Somebody tell them to holla at us for some beats, ASAP!!!!
